Esmari’s back story
Born and raised in South Africa, Esmari attended the University of Pretoria, one of South Africa’s largest and most prestigious universities.

After graduating in 2005, Esmari spent seven years working in private dental practice, building a strong clinical foundation and genuine love for patient care.

Ready for a new chapter, Esmari then set off on what became a decade-long adventure in New Zealand. Based in Christchurch, she continued working as a general dentist, gaining valuable experience and forming lasting connections with her patients and community.

While she loved New Zealand, after 17 years dedicated to her career, the draw of family and a warmer climate led Esmari to the Gold Coast. With all those years of experience behind her, Esmari brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach as a dentist to the Gold Coast.

As a Gold Coast dentist, Emari is delighted to have found her place with the Define Dental team.

Esmari has a deep love for adventure. She loves exploring new destinations, trying new cuisines and thrives by recharging in nature. Esmari lives by the ethos that a life well lived is one full of new experiences.

Since Esmari has chosen to become a Gold Coast dentist, she cherishes our stunning beaches, enjoys the local walking trails and takes every opportunity to appreciate all the Gold Coast has to offer.

What Esmari wants for Define Dental patients
Esmari is known for her calm, gentle approach and her ability to help patients feel instantly at ease. Her priority is always to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for.

She’s a firm believer that ‘prevention is better than cure’ and so likes to be conservative, always trying to preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible. Guided by high ethical standards, Esmari focuses on what’s best for each patient’s long-term health and wellbeing.
